Las Vegas, Nashville, San Francisco, Miami – a destination bachelorette party is a wonderful way to celebrate a momentous life event while exploring the highlights of a new city with some of your closest friends. Sometimes, though, the obvious choices feel a little stale, almost as if you’ve experienced the same exact itinerary before (and let’s face it: if you’re at that stage of life when it seems everyone and their sister is engaged, you probably have). Orca Island Cabins is a uniquely Alaska answer to typical bachelorette party fatigue, and we guarantee you’ll leave with forever memories and a satisfied crew.

Orca Island Cabins makes it easy to plan a group trip – with rates per person, everything including a round-trip water taxi between Seward and the island, use of kayaks, rowing skiffs, stand-up paddleboards, wet suits, fishing gear, binoculars and firewood for the outdoor fire pits is included. We’ve got your adventure gear covered.

There’s no chef on site, but each yurt is equipped with a kitchen and a large private deck with a barbeque grill – so cooking your own food with a stunning view of the bay is part of the fun. Bring your own champagne or wine (or both!) and enjoy it from the south deck common area. You’ll feel like you’re nearly floating on the water and we can’t think of a better setting for girl time.

A fun, $75 add-on is the two-hour Resurrection Bay cruise that leaves straight from the island. You’ll see gorgeous coastal landscapes, seascapes and, if you’re lucky, even orca and humpback whales. This would be a sure highlight of the trip, if all of the other activities available to you weren’t also so much fun.

After a few days on the island, your group will be recharged; you’ll have spent some true quality time with each other and will be ready to celebrate one of the happiest days of your life. Check out our mid- to late-summer availability and book now!
